It's been a while now, but in September 2024, I was able to publish a paper titled "Motives for food choice among young students amid the rapid urbanization in Lao PDR" in the journal Food and Humanity.

In this study, we developed a Lao-language version of the Food Choice Questionnaire, a survey tool used to measure food choice motives.
In fact, we began preparations as early as 2019, including focus group interviews, but the actual survey was conducted in 2022. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the process took longer than expected, and I am sincerely sorry to everyone involved. In the end, I was unable to visit the field site myself and had to rely on local staff to conduct the questionnaire survey remotely. Communicating via email was quite nerve-wracking, and I also faced significant challenges during the peer-review process, which makes the publication all the more meaningful to me.
